What you will do
- Build and maintain financial models supporting valuation and deal structuring.
- Analyze industries, competitors, acquisition targets, investment opportunities, joint ventures, and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate financial, tax, legal, and operational due diligence with external advisors and cross-functional teams across Asia, London, and New York.
- Support transactions from initial assessment through closing.
- Prepare investment memos and presentations that communicate complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Maintain the regional deal pipeline and monitor completed investments against their original investment thesis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
- At least five years of experience in corporate development, deal advisory, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills, financial modeling proficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Experience working with large datasets, including digital sales and streaming reports; advanced Excel is essential.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and create persuasive presentations about complex information.
- Fluent English is required. Passion for music, entertainment, and media is expected.
Nice to have
- MBA, CFA, or an equivalent advanced credential.
- Python, SQL, or experience using AI/LLM tools to accelerate analysis.
- Knowledge of another Southeast Asian language.
