Software Engineer (Agentic AI)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia

Salary: EUR 2,400–4,100 per month for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do

• Maintain, refactor, extend, and operate AI applications and services in production.
• Build agentic-friendly tools, services, and workflows used by LLM-based agents.
• Design AI workflows combining models, prompts, tools, enterprise data, and business logic.
• Validate model behavior, outputs, and assumptions from production and business-use perspectives.
• Design evaluation frameworks, test suites, human evaluation workflows, and quality checks for AI and LLM systems.
• Improve reliability, scalability, cost control, and latency while bringing new agentic systems into production.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills with Python, TypeScript, Java, or Kotlin, including clean code, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience with APIs, services, integrations, and existing codebases in Linux and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with LLM application patterns such as prompting, retrieval-augmented generation, and tool or function calling.
• Comfort using agentic coding harnesses such as Claude Code, directing AI agents, and reviewing generated code.
• Forward Deployed Engineer mindset with an ability to understand business problems and make pragmatic technical decisions.
• Exposure to data science methods for validating AI models.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience developing agentic or LLM applications, including agent loops, evaluations, and tool design.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry or AIP.
• Insurance or reinsurance domain experience.
• Experience with cloud AI services such as Azure AI.
