Data Center Operations Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Serve as the on-site subject matter expert for critical data center infrastructure.
• Manage site design limitations, risks, and audit colocation partners and service providers.
• Own the change management process for high-risk maintenance activities.
• Act as the first responder for on-site incidents and drive resolution.
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure site reliability and feed operational learnings into design.

Requirements

• Must be based in Lubbock, TX or willing to work on-site.
• Proven experience operating or leading critical-facilities operations in a live data center.
• Deep knowledge of the critical-infrastructure stack, specifically power and cooling.
• Experience running change management for high-risk work and maintaining standards.
• Ability to act as a calm, capable first responder during critical failures.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale or colocation operations.
• Familiarity with Uptime Institute or NFPA standards.
• Experience with critical environment MOP/EOP procedures.
