What you will do

• Supervise Manufacturing Engineers and provide first-level engineering escalation support for daily issues on assigned manufacturing lines.
• Lead continuous improvement and equipment projects, including funding requests, procurement, installation, startup, documentation, and vendor communication.
• Rebuild and upgrade utility systems and production equipment for formulation, filling, capping, lyophilization, packaging, and warehousing operations.
• Maintain the validated state of equipment and systems while supporting cGMP, OSHA, DEC, EPA, ISO, and local regulatory compliance.
• Transfer new products and technologies to manufacturing with Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and R&D teams.
• Lead deviation and non-conformance investigations, implement corrective and preventive actions, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least five years of plant manufacturing experience in a regulated cGMP environment.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment, HMI interfaces, computerized machinery, and automated manufacturing systems.
• Experience with industrial automation, plant mechanical and electrical systems, PLC programming, and Siemens or Allen Bradley control systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs, wiring diagrams, architectural drawings, and construction drawings.
• Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing standards, FDA regulations, root cause analysis, equipment reliability, and coordinating contractors or project teams.
