Senior Project Engineer (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Salary: $131,807.04–$133,442.05 per year

hirify.global develops and manufactures pharmaceutical products, including terminal-sterilized intravenous fluid bags using PVC-free polypropylene freeflex® technology.

What you will do

• Manage site projects involving terminal-sterilized pharmaceutical IV bag manufacturing, including equipment and facility modifications.
• Select and coordinate suppliers, procure equipment and services, and oversee scheduling, rigging, installation, start-up, troubleshooting, training, and budgets.
• Analyze manufacturing processes, production data, process sequences, product quality, yield, and operating costs.
• Investigate manufacturing deviations using root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Support process improvement initiatives, risk assessments, validation activities, and equipment and system qualification.
• Maintain technical reports and process instructions, and train operations and support teams on freeflex® bag technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering, or equivalent foreign education.
• At least five years of experience in validated manufacturing of terminal-sterilized pharmaceutical PVC-free bags in a cGMP environment.
• Experience with polypropylene IV bag materials, terminal sterilization, product integrity assurance, and manufacturing process analysis.
• Experience qualifying processes, equipment, and systems and interpreting production data to identify deviations.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, quality, operations, and maintenance teams and applying structured problem-solving methodologies.
