Finisher I (Marine Manufacturing)

Location: Clarkston, Washington, United States; onsite in a large manufacturing facility

Salary: $19.20–$20.20 per hour

What you will do

• Install various components in the front, middle, and back sections of Thunder Jet boats.
• Use power and non-power hand tools, including drills, sanders, measuring tape, adhesive sprayers, buffers, rivet guns, saws, and hammers.
• Read specifications, schematic drawings, and measurements to complete installation work.
• Prepare completed boats for the next production department.
• Track assignments through daily schedules and maintain quality and timely completion.
• Identify workplace hazards, follow safety procedures, and maintain good housekeeping.

Requirements

• Ability to follow established safety processes when handling equipment and installing boat components.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, safety awareness, attendance, and accountability.
• Ability to listen, learn processes promptly, and work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, kneel, climb, reach, and work overhead during 10-hour shifts.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and work in moderate-to-high noise environments.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred; manufacturing experience is preferred but training is available.

Nice to have

• Basic math, reading, and tape-measure skills.
• Computer skills.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, or Lean Six Sigma.
