Lead UI/UX Designer

Location: Must be based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States (On-site)

What you will do

• Lead the plan, design, and development of user experiences for devices and systems.
• Conduct user research and optimization to inform design solutions.
• Create visual designs, storyboards, interaction flows, and interface guidelines.
• Manage project life cycles, including customer interviews and requirement articulation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and engineering teams to prototype and iterate on solutions.
• Review final implementations with front-end developers to ensure design standards are met.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with an appropriate current polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4 years of equivalent experience).
• 10 years of experience in User Experience Design.
• 5 years of experience within the last 10 years leading project life cycle design.
• 3 years of experience with screen mock-up tools such as Powerpoint, Visio, or Axure.
• Ability to receive privileged access rights.
