Federal Concrete Quality Control

Location: Lomira, Wisconsin, United States; travel throughout the United States required. Projects follow a six-weeks-on, one-week-off rotation.

What you will do

• Manage project quality requirements across civil and structural construction projects.
• Prepare daily quality control reports and concise performance documentation covering rework costs, submittals, defects, and non-conformance.
• Coordinate inspections, testing personnel, equipment, laboratory compliance, and testing procedures with technicians, subcontractors, and superintendents.
• Lead quality phase meetings, document meeting minutes, and coordinate project startup deliverables with project managers and clients.
• Review contracts, specifications, addenda, drawings, plans, and client deliverable requirements to ensure compliance.
• Initiate and track corrective actions, resolve non-conformances, verify incoming materials, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in concrete airfield construction inspection, QA/QC, or project management.
• Ability to obtain ACI Concrete Transportation Construction Inspection Certification.
• Ability to travel throughout the United States and work six weeks on, followed by one week off, on project rotations.
• Experience with submittal management and the ability to read and understand contract drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail, time management, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and related Microsoft tools.
