Quality Analyst (Manufacturing)

Location: Edison, New Jersey, United States; onsite manufacturing facility with rotating 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed

What you will do

• Monitor production against dimensional and visual specifications and document inspection results.
• Collect and analyze quality data using Gainseeker and maintain quality records and procedures.
• Perform inspections and special testing, including metallurgical and product testing, with precision measuring equipment.
• Identify nonconforming raw materials and production, place affected products on hold, and support sorting and disposition.
• Investigate customer complaints and quality reports while communicating out-of-specification conditions to production, maintenance, and management.
• Support gauge calibration, employee training, safety practices, and quality improvement projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in quality control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC), raw material identification, manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and material flow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, overtime, and in an active manufacturing environment involving moving machinery, elevated noise, variable temperatures, dust, fumes, and wet conditions.
