Quality Control Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Starting rate: $27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Plan and execute QC laboratory testing to support manufacturing and engineering schedules.
• Inspect and test products at multiple production stages, including First Articles, in-process, final, and Stage II inspection.
• Review production processes, specifications, setup sheets, and standards for conformance.
• Record, analyze, and report test data using statistical quality control methods, graphs, charts, and Certificate of Analysis reports.
• Calibrate equipment, prepare samples, validate production data, and maintain retained samples.
• Develop procedures and work instructions, train QC personnel, and support customer complaint investigations and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, manufacturing software, email, and the Internet.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, maintain accurate records, write reports, and interpret technical and safety documentation.
• Ability to perform calculations involving measurements, percentages, area, circumference, volume, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including overtime, and travel between facilities or to customers.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, effective communication skills, and ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED with some secondary education.
• Certification to operate powered industrial trucks.
