Director, Corporate Strategy & AI Intelligence

Location: Marysville, Ohio, United States

Salary: $175,700–$206,700 per year, plus incentive eligibility through corporate bonus programs.

What you will do

• Research and pilot emerging AI tools and large language models to identify growth opportunities and potential corporate partners.
• Deliver market forecasting, competitive intelligence, and automated workflow insights.
• Develop data-driven Partner, Build, or Buy recommendations for Business Development and M&A teams.
• Provide centralized technical insight for M&A due diligence and new business product enhancement.
• Lead the AI Market Intelligence team of managers and analysts across M&A, strategic planning, and portfolio enhancement.
• Integrate AI tools and automated workflows into strategic operations and collaborate with M&A and New Business Development directors.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, venture capital, or corporate development/M&A.
• Experience designing and executing Partner, Build, or Buy frameworks, market sizing, and commercial due diligence.
• At least 3 years of direct people-management experience leading analysts or strategic managers.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience piloting and deploying LLM-powered solutions, custom GPTs, or RAG workflows.
• Proficiency with Python or R and familiarity with vector databases, BI tools, and workflow automation platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience using OpenAI, Anthropic, or Hugging Face APIs.
• Knowledge of AI hallucinations, data privacy, security restrictions, and token-cost management.
