Information Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: On-site in Arlington, Virginia, United States. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available. Occasional travel of up to 10% may be required.

Salary: $85,000–$202,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage cybersecurity controls and processes for the War Data Platform.
• Conduct security risk and vulnerability assessments and evaluate and test security controls.
• Monitor and analyze security events and support incident response, remediation, and threat management.
• Manage identity and access activities, including account lifecycle management, access reviews, authentication, authorization, and least privilege enforcement.
• Support security testing, audits, Risk Management Framework activities, compliance documentation, and NIST and DoD control implementation.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and improve the platform’s security posture.

Requirements

• Secret security clearance required.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Junior: 0–3 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree; Journeyman: 4–7 years and a bachelor’s degree; Senior: 8+ years and a bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant cybersecurity certification appropriate to the level, such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, CCSP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or equivalent certifications listed in the posting.
• Professional proficiency in English and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication skills and a self-starter mindset.
