Data Scientist, Product Analytics - USDS

Location: Los Angeles, United States; fully in-person schedule up to 5 days a week

Salary: $136,800–$312,867 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Conduct product analytics and provide recommendations that support product growth.
• Investigate data sources, assess their limitations, and perform exploratory analysis and research.
• Communicate complex data insights and analytical conclusions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Design and monitor core product metrics and identify root causes of metric movements.
• Design and build advanced analytical solutions and models to deliver business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, economics, statistics, science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience working with large datasets using SQL.
• Ability to conduct rigorous analysis and communicate conclusions clearly.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to learn autonomously.
• Availability to work fully in person in Los Angeles, up to five days per week.
