TL;DR
Solution Manager, People Systems (Workday): Owning Workday modules and leading solution delivery, operational support, team development, and transformation initiatives across People Systems with an accent on Core HCM, solution governance, data integrity, and employee experience. Focus on designing scalable configurations, managing implementations and releases, strengthening audit controls, and identifying agentic AI opportunities with appropriate oversight and data governance.
Location: Onsite at the Petaling Jaya office, Malaysia

What you will do
- Lead the Workday functional team, setting priorities, delivery standards, growth plans, and capability-building initiatives.
- Own the functional roadmap and solution design for assigned Workday modules, including cross-module dependencies.
- Manage the full lifecycle of Workday modules across BAU support, SLAs, backlogs, incidents, enhancements, releases, and major projects.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable Workday configurations, business processes, reports, controls, and connected solutions.
- Partner with Technology, Security, Data, Payroll, Finance, People teams, and vendors to maintain data integrity, compliance, and secure delivery.
- Identify and lead agentic AI opportunities across Workday operations while ensuring human oversight, data privacy, and governance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in HRIS, HR technology, or People Systems, including 5+ years leading Workday solution delivery teams in a regional or global environment.
- Functional expertise in Workday Core HCM and broad experience with Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Performance, Learning, Absence, Time Tracking, Security, and Reporting.
- Experience leading at least two end-to-end Workday implementations, plus major enhancements, upgrades, or global rollouts.
- Experience building teams through coaching, mentoring, performance management, capability development, and continuous process improvement.
- Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, procurement, software tools, and professional services spend.
- Knowledge of Workday configuration, business process design, reporting, security, data governance, testing, and audit remediation.
