Lead Technical Program Manager (Data & Analytics)

Location: Los Angeles (Pen Factory) office; onsite Monday through Thursday. The role is based in the United States.

Annual base pay range in the U.S.: $114,080–$211,048, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Own planning and delivery across data activation, analytics engineering, and data platform integration initiatives.
• Coordinate Studios, Analytics, Finance, Marketing Technology, product, and engineering teams around goals, dependencies, ownership, and outcomes.
• Shape roadmaps, sequence work, align capacity, and manage milestones, risks, trade-offs, releases, migrations, and operational readiness.
• Use SQL to validate outputs, inspect schemas, investigate data quality issues, and support first-pass troubleshooting.
• Establish scalable mechanisms for intake, prioritization, reporting, documentation, service ownership, and governance.
• Track adoption, data quality, reliability, timeliness, and delivery predictability while improving collaboration through retrospectives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical program, product, or project management experience with data, software, platform, or infrastructure engineering teams.
• Working proficiency with SQL and practical understanding of ingestion, transformation, orchestration, batch and streaming pipelines, APIs, metrics layers, and downstream activation.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional programs across multiple teams and organizations in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication, prioritization, time management, and follow-through skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, M365, or similar tools, and Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery models.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, plus AI fluency and experience supporting AI/ML programs or using AI-assisted tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git, lakehouses, cloud data warehouses, dbt, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, data observability, catalogs, or governance platforms.
• Experience with data activation and Marketing Technology ecosystems, including customer data platforms, reverse ETL, identity resolution, experimentation, or conversion APIs.
• Portfolio-level leadership, mentoring experience, or PMP, Certified Scrum Master, PRINCE2, or similar certification.
