What you will do

• Develop and implement data governance practices covering ownership, quality controls, validation, metadata, versioning, and lifecycle management.
• Manage and maintain network model data, supporting quality, consistency, completeness, traceability, and fitness for purpose.
• Improve Network Model Management processes, workflows, tools, documentation, and operational procedures.
• Work with CIM, CGMES, UCTE-DEF, and related data exchange and validation standards.
• Analyse and resolve data quality, mapping, reconciliation, interoperability, and model consistency issues.
• Lead or contribute to customer projects, facilitate workshops, advise on solution options and migration paths, and manage delivery risks.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in the energy and utilities sector, including data management for TSOs, DSOs, generation, or utility consultancies.
• Experience with data management solutions, standardisation, and cleansing involving operational technology applications and network models.
• Strong understanding of data management and grid operations processes.
• Practical knowledge of CIM/CGMES and IEC 61968/61970/62325 standards used in real projects or products.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for multidisciplinary stakeholder groups.
• Degree or HND in Computer Science, Electrical or Power Engineering, or a related discipline, or relevant industry experience.

Nice to have

• PRINCE2, PMP, TOGAF, CDMP/DAMA, or vendor data management qualifications.
