Licensed Optician - Assistant Manager

What you will do

• Drive and monitor profit, sales, and performance goals while managing operating costs, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee the eyeglass department, improving efficiency and ensuring compliance with company policies and operational standards.
• Supervise, motivate, coach, and mentor opticians and customer-facing associates.
• Ensure outstanding customer service, quality standards, merchandising, pricing promotions, and marketing execution.
• Assist with staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, and retention of store associates.
• Analyze financial reports, identify improvement opportunities, and create action plans.

Requirements

• Maintain an optical license as required by the state.
• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build effective associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of store operations and financial reports.
• ABO and NCLE certification required.
