Hourly wage: $33.00–$41.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

What you will do

• Provide member service, identify needs, assist with purchasing decisions, resolve concerns, and promote products and services.
• Sell optical products and services, including eyewear and contact lenses.
• Measure, adjust, and repair frames and lenses and verify prescription information.
• Complete eyewear and contact lens orders, paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
• Perform and record optometric pretest results and collect payments for doctor services.
• Maintain optical merchandise presentation, stock and organize products, process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and identify damages or shrink.

Requirements

• Licensed optician position requiring optical product and service responsibilities.
• Ability to measure, adjust, and repair frames and lenses.
• Ability to complete eyewear and contact lens orders and verify prescription information.
• Ability to operate cash registers and process different membership and payment types.
• Ability to perform optometric pretests and maintain accurate records.
