R&D NPI Engineering Manager, Project Management (NPI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Anoka, Minnesota, United States

Compensation range: $105,000–$195,000 annually, with potential eligibility for additional annual incentives.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and mentor a global project and program management team focused on NPI execution.
• Oversee end-to-end NPI project delivery, including scope, budget, timelines, and quality outcomes.
• Coordinate priorities, resources, and schedules across engineering, product management, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations.
• Optimize resource planning and allocation across a changing portfolio of projects.
• Drive NPI project selection and prioritization in alignment with strategic and business objectives.
• Own the phase-gate process, improve project management methods and tools, and lead KPI reporting and monthly business reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Ideally 8+ years of experience in NPI or PMO leadership, including 2+ years of people leadership.
• Experience leading large-scale, complex projects and successful product introductions.
• Expertise in PMO practices, methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and deliver results in a matrixed organization.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering-focused organizations, with strong communication, coaching, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
