Production Manager - Planning PMO (Electrode)

Location: Sparks, Nevada, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday day shift

Travel is minimal and required only for business needs. All candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.

What you will do

• Lead Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People performance for production planning and PMO operations.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to translate ERP plans into executable shop-floor production plans.
• Manage plan changes, performance reporting, operational milestones, dependencies, risks, and decision needs.
• Drive escalation and resolution of cross-functional constraints across production, maintenance, engineering, and quality.
• Maintain inventory and WIP accountability, SOP readiness, handover requirements, and audit-ready change documentation.
• Lead planners and PMO coordinators while maintaining the centralized issue/action repository and closure governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field; relevant experience may substitute.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Ability to manage issue/action systems, establish accountability, and facilitate cross-functional follow-up.
• Ability to work onsite in Sparks, Nevada, and maintain unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
• Ability to comply with PPE requirements, including safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face protection, and potentially respirator-equipped protective equipment.
• Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including frequent walking and standing and lifting up to 35 pounds; heavier items require team lifting.

Nice to have

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience supporting high-volume operations with frequent plan changes and multi-process dependencies.
