System Administrator (DoD)

Location: On-site in Arlington, Virginia, United States. Occasional travel of up to 10% is required.

Salary: $107,000–$220,000 per year.

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and secure the War Data Platform infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, system configurations, monitoring tools, and backup and recovery systems.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting and automation tools.
• Perform system health checks, updates, and security patches to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain documentation, and monitor logs for performance and security anomalies.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 platform availability.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• SECRET security clearance is required.
• Junior: 0–3 years of experience and a bachelor's degree.
• Journeyman: 4–7 years of experience and a bachelor's degree.
• Senior: 8+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree.
• Professional English proficiency, good communication skills, a self-starter mindset, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP certification for Junior or Journeyman roles.
• SecurityX, CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, or GFACT certification for Senior roles.
