What you will do
- Set up and operate mills, lathes, drills, Bridgeport machines, CNC equipment, Swiss tool machines, and twin spindle lathes.
- Set up and operate pallet changers, horizontal mills, and vertical mills.
- Follow work instructions, company procedures, and safety guidelines to support safe, high-quality production.
- Perform routine machinery maintenance, inspect broken or worn parts, and maintain replacement-parts inventory.
- Interpret blueprints and title-block GD&T, identify key and critical characteristics, and use precision measurement tools.
- Cross-train on additional equipment and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Requirements
- Experience setting up and operating CNC and other machining equipment with limited supervision.
- Fluency in blueprint interpretation and title-block GD&T.
- Ability to determine key and critical characteristics.
- Ability to use calipers, gauges, indicators, micrometers, and other relevant hand tools.
- Understanding of production flow and the impact of machining work on plant metrics and customers.
