Field Technician (Agriculture)

Location: 32250 Fourcès, France; field-based duties with flexible hours and opportunities for mobile working.

What you will do

• Prepare experimental fields and set up agricultural trials according to defined requirements.
• Conduct observations, ratings, and sampling in line with trial-specific protocols.
• Communicate regularly with the study director and other field technicians about progress and study events.
• Record, verify, and maintain the reliability of experimental data.
• Ensure compliance with study protocols and applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Support daily facility operations, including inventory management and equipment calibration.

Requirements

• Qualification equivalent to an agricultural BTS or higher technician certificate.
• Good knowledge of agricultural practices and fundamental agronomic principles.
• Strong organizational skills, operational focus, and the ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• French proficiency is desired; working knowledge of English is recommended.

• CACES R482 category F certificate.
• Certiphyto certification.
