Science Lead (Human Health)

Location: Marcq-en-Barœul, France; full-time, permanent contract; willing to travel up to 20% of the time

What you will do

• Lead scientific strategy across selected health benefit areas and strengthen the organization’s scientific credibility.
• Direct evidence generation plans, including clinical trial development, and provide scientific project leadership.
• Advise the business on scientific literature, competing products, substantiation levels, and cutting-edge evidence-generation methodologies.
• Collaborate with Research & Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Marketing teams to align scientific and commercial priorities.
• Identify research opportunities and support the development of new concepts and ingredients.
• Represent Gnosis with regulatory and scientific authorities and contribute to scientific publications and communications.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in life sciences.
• 3–5 years of experience in the food ingredients, functional products, or pharmaceutical industry.
• 1–2 years of experience developing evidence generation plans, including clinical trials.
• Proven experience managing scientific projects and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of systems and models used for scientific substantiation, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Fluent English is essential.
