What you will do

• Define enzyme screening strategies and develop biocatalytic processes for small-molecule synthesis projects.
• Perform reaction engineering, optimize enzymatic transformations, and develop kinetic models.
• Apply DoE, machine learning, data analytics, and AI tools to optimize processes and digitalize laboratory workflows.
• Program and operate laboratory robotics platforms and support digital transformation projects.
• Plan and supervise laboratory experiments and transfer biocatalytic technologies to pilot scale.
• Document experiments, prepare reports, communicate results to international stakeholders, and maintain audit and inspection frameworks with Quality teams.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in applied biocatalysis for small-molecule synthesis, APIs, or fine chemicals.
• Deep expertise in enzyme screening, biocatalytic process development, and reaction engineering.
• Experience with laboratory automation, robotics programming, DoE, kinetic modeling, data analytics, and AI-driven process optimization.
• PhD in chemistry, biocatalysis, biotechnology, or a related field, or a Master’s degree with at least 5 years of proven experience.
• Strong autonomy, leadership, decision-making, organization, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Command of English and French, both spoken and written, is required.
