Design Co-op (Winter 2027)

Location: hirify.global Kingston office, Ontario, Canada; full-time temporary co-op placement.

Pay range: $21.00–$26.00 CAD per hour.

What you will do

• Support architects and project teams throughout the design and construction process.
• Assist with schematic design, design development, and contract document production.
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, details, sections, schedules, and other architectural documentation.
• Produce 3D views and renderings for architectural projects.
• Apply architectural procedures, building technology, construction methodologies, and material applications.
• Support contract administration and independently complete assignments with guidance from senior team members.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Revit 2020 or higher and AutoCAD 2020 or higher.
• Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of building technology, construction methodologies, and material applications.
• Attention to detail, multitasking ability, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture.

• Rhino and Enscape.
• SketchUp and InDesign.
• Other architectural visualization specialties.
