Integration Engineer

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; workplace: on-site. Occasional travel of up to 10% may be required.

Salary: $107,000–$220,000 per year.

What you will do

• Integrate infrastructure, data services, user interfaces, and other software components into a complete system.
• Design and execute integration tests across multiple system environments and maintain automated integration test suites.
• Develop integration strategies and plans, establish production-like integration environments, and implement continuous integration practices and tools.
• Manage component dependencies, coordinate integration activities across teams, and document integration points and interfaces.
• Validate APIs against specifications, implement service virtualization, and monitor integration metrics and success rates.
• Implement message queues, APIs, and event-driven integration patterns while collaborating on architecture and component design.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Secret security clearance is required.
• Junior level: 0–3 years of experience and a bachelor's degree; CSSLP, GCLD, or GSEC certification.
• Journeyman level: 4–7 years of experience and a bachelor's degree.
• Senior level: 8+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree; FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, or SSCP certification.
• Professional proficiency in English, strong communication skills, a self-starter mindset, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
