Sr. Oracle CPQ Developer/Architect

Location: San Diego, California, United States; onsite five days a week.

Salary: $120,600–$180,900 per year.

What you will do

• Architect, develop, implement, and support enterprise-scale Oracle CPQ solutions and customizations.
• Build integrations using Java, Java EE, middleware, Apache Tomcat, REST and SOAP APIs, custom web services, BMQL, and database technologies.
• Partner with architects and business stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Overhaul to translate requirements into scalable enterprise solutions.
• Perform architecture reviews, code reviews, solution validation, testing, release management, and production support.
• Plan and execute platform upgrades, security patches, vulnerability remediation, and vendor-recommended fixes.
• Troubleshoot incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to maintain system reliability and availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM-related field.
• 10 years of enterprise integration architecture experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on Oracle CPQ development, including Configuration, Commerce, Document Designer, Document Engine, Data Tables, rules, BML, BMQL, JET UI, and REST API Services.
• 8+ years of Java application development and web/front-end development with HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, and CSS.
• 8+ years of experience with web services, Oracle Database, SQL, data conversion, ETL, data modeling, and enterprise programming.
• Experience with XML/XSL-FO document creation, release and change management, production support, object-oriented programming, and scalable architecture design.

• Performance tuning, asynchronous programming, threading, and multi-tier system development experience.
