Sr. Oracle CPQ Developer/Architect (Oracle CPQ)

Location: San Diego, California; onsite five days a week

Salary: $120,600–$180,900 per year

What you will do

• Architect, develop, implement, customize, and support enterprise-scale Oracle CPQ solutions.
• Build BML scripts, configuration and commerce rules, Document Designer and Document Engine logic, BMQL queries, and custom web services.
• Develop and integrate Java/Java EE applications, middleware components, Apache Tomcat environments, REST/SOAP APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Apply technical governance through architecture reviews, code reviews, solution validation, security controls, performance optimization, and scalability standards.
• Plan and execute product upgrades, middleware enhancements, server upgrades, security patches, vulnerability remediation, and release activities.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and participate in planning, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM-related field.
• 10 years of enterprise integration architecture experience.
• 8 years of hands-on Oracle CPQ development, administration, site management, BML, BMQL, JET UI, and REST API experience.
• 8 or more years of Java application development, web and front-end development, web services, Oracle Database, data modeling, ETL, and enterprise programming experience.
• Experience with XML and XSL-FO document creation, release management, change management, production support, and object-oriented programming.
• Availability to work onsite in San Diego five days per week; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Project implementation experience across Agile, Waterfall, and other software development lifecycles.
• Azure DevOps proficiency and experience with performance tuning, multi-tier systems, and scalable architecture.
• Manufacturing domain experience.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
