Oracle CPQ Developer (Oracle CPQ)

Location: San Diego, California; onsite five days a week

What you will do

• Architect, build, integrate, and support enterprise-scale Oracle CPQ solutions and customizations.
• Develop BML scripts, configuration and commerce rules, Document Designer logic, BMQL queries, REST/SOAP APIs, and custom web services.
• Integrate Oracle CPQ with Salesforce CRM, MDM, PLM, and other enterprise applications.
• Partner with architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and business-ready solutions.
• Create technical documentation, develop unit tests, perform code reviews, and follow source control, change management, security, and governance processes.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to maintain system stability and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM-related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on Oracle CPQ enterprise development and administration experience, including Configuration, Commerce, Document Designer, Document Engine, Data Tables, BML, BMQL, JET UI, and REST API Services.
• 3+ years of enterprise programming experience with Python, Java, .NET, or C#.
• 3+ years of release management and change management experience.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming patterns and concepts, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at multiple management levels.
• This position requires onsite work five days a week. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Web and front-end development experience with HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, and CSS.
• Experience with SOAP and REST web services, Apache ASP, custom API development, Oracle Database, SQL, procedures, functions, triggers, data conversion, and ETL.
• Experience with production support, performance tuning, scalable architecture design, and manufacturing systems.
