Oracle Configurator/CPQ Lead (Product Configuration)

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States; onsite

Annual base pay: $130,000–$145,000, plus potential benefits and performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of global Oracle Configurator and CPQ solutions within Oracle EBS.
• Define standards for model architecture, naming conventions, rule frameworks, user interfaces, and configurator governance.
• Build and maintain configuration models, advanced rule logic, BOM structures, routings, catalog values, and master data.
• Integrate configurator solutions with BOM, Inventory, PLM, and related Oracle modules while supporting product launches and lifecycle transitions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Creation, Sales, IT, B2C/B2B, Service, MFE, ISFA, and Warehouse teams on enhancements and regional requirements.
• Manage dashboards, issue resolution, root-cause analysis, UAT support, documentation, training materials, and the long-term configurator roadmap.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Oracle Configurator and Oracle CPQ.
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle Inventory, Order Management, Configurator, BOM, WIP, and CPQ modules.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management and experience with BI/DOMO reporting tools.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience is required, along with strong communication, analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Carlsbad, California, with frequent travel potentially required.

• Experience with repetitive JIT systems.
