Supervisor, Master Data Systems (SAP)

Location: Hybrid schedule based in Carlsbad, CA or Huntington Beach, CA, with approximately 10% domestic and international travel

Salary: USD 97,200–145,700 annual base salary, plus bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Supervise and mentor Master Data Analysts, including coaching, workload prioritization, and performance feedback.
• Oversee creation, extension, governance, and quality of Materials, BOMs, and related master data objects across SAP ECC and S/4HANA Retail.
• Manage Centric PLM integrations with SAP across apparel, soft goods, and hard goods.
• Support ERP and PLM rollouts, migrations, stabilization, and issue resolution across OTC, PTP, and supply chain processes.
• Develop automation scripts with Precisely Automate (Winshuttle) and similar tools to reduce manual effort and errors.
• Partner with brand operations, IT, and business leads on global process alignment, sustainability data, tariff and compliance attributes, and hierarchy governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of Master Data Management experience with hands-on SAP ECC and S/4HANA Retail expertise.
• Strong knowledge of PLM, preferably Centric, and PLM-to-ERP integrations.
• Experience supervising or mentoring analysts in a global, cross-brand environment.
• Proficiency with SAP master data objects, mass change tools, table lookups, and audit analysis.
• Experience with Winshuttle, Automation Anywhere, or similar automation tools; advanced Excel skills including macros, pivot tables, and VBA.

Nice to have

• Experience with global apparel, fashion, or consumer goods brands.
• Knowledge of MDM governance frameworks and exception-based reporting.
• Experience with sustainability and compliance-related master data requirements.
• Involvement in large-scale ERP/PLM migrations or S/4HANA rollouts.
