General Manager - Michels Road & Stone

Location: Lomira, Wisconsin, United States; occasional travel and willingness to relocate required.

Family-owned and operated infrastructure contractor delivering road, airport, large site development, and shoreline protection projects.

What you will do

• Foster safe and profitable operations through planning, leadership, and oversight.
• Set strategic goals in coordination with the President or Vice President.
• Direct regional operations and align team goals with corporate and divisional objectives.
• Work with Senior and Project Managers to execute operational plans and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, and subcontractors through project work and industry networking.
• Support troubled project recovery plans with senior managers and project teams.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience maintaining and promoting a strong safety culture and following safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience directing and overseeing regional operations.
• Valid driver’s license for the relevant vehicle types and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel occasionally and willingness to relocate.

• Field experience in civil excavation or highway paving.
