Robotics Engineer

Location: On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available. Candidates must already be eligible to work in Germany; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: €75,000–€110,000 gross annually, plus equity participation.

hirify.global is an early-stage industrial robotics startup developing intelligent robotic work cells for demanding manual tasks such as surface finishing, welding, and coating.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the complete robotics software stack for an industrial robotic work cell.
• Develop and optimize motion planning, trajectory generation, and closed-loop control algorithms.
• Integrate cameras, force/torque sensors, and LiDAR into real-time control loops.
• Design industrial safety concepts and fail-safe behaviors.
• Lead on-site testing, calibration, and commissioning of robotic systems.
• Drive architecture decisions and establish engineering practices across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on robotics engineering experience with real industrial or collaborative robot hardware.
• Strong knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, motion planning, and control theory applied to physical systems.
• Production-environment experience with motion planning and trajectory generation for industrial robot arms.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python, with the ability to work at the systems level.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
• Must already have the right to work in Germany; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with ROS 2 and industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT or OPC-UA.
• Background in surface finishing, welding, coating, or related industrial processes.
