What you will do

• Develop and maintain novel robotic systems within a high-paced R&D environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex system architectures.
• Engineer solutions for motor control, navigation, obstacle detection, and functional safety.
• Perform peer reviews and write automated tests to validate new features.
• Diagnose and debug complex, multi-variable system issues related to robotic manipulation and locomotion.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• High proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, including device drivers and multicore systems.
• Experience with real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS, RT Linux, or Micrium.
• Proven experience diagnosing and debugging complex system issues.

Nice to have

• Experience with low-level board bring-up, HAL code, or BSPs for custom hardware.
• Knowledge of RF and wireless communications, especially 802.11.
• Experience with sensors such as cameras or 3DTOF vision systems.
• Experience developing safety-certified systems, specifically IEC 61508.
• Experience handling large data sets and working with AWS.
