Physical AI Data Operations Expert (Robotics)

hirify.global develops robots and operates NEURA Gym, a network of physical training centers where robots learn industrial skills from real-world human operators.

What you will do

• Support, train, and coordinate data operators and interns who teleoperate robots during operational shifts.
• Develop onboarding materials, organize customer workshops, and explain technical concepts so customer teams can operate independently.
• Adapt and debug the robotics software stack, including drive control, fieldbus communications, kinematics, and real-time networking.
• Set up and calibrate teleoperation systems, sensors, data recording stations, and network infrastructure in NEURA and customer gyms.
• Monitor the end-to-end data flow from sensor capture and synchronization through annotation and cloud upload, maintaining data integrity and transport latency.
• Coordinate between gym staff, Research & Development, service departments, and customers.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, mechatronics, robotics, computer science, business, or a related field.
• Practical experience with multisensor setups, including calibration and synchronization.
• Programming experience with C++ and Python, plus embedded computing, real-time operating systems, and networking stacks.
• Understanding of data collection and data engineering in imitation learning, robot learning, or computer vision.
• Hands-on experience working with hardware, including sensors, screwdrivers, and soldering equipment.
• Fluent English required; German is highly beneficial.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of EtherCAT.
• Experience with robotics, AI, automation, or other emerging technologies.
