Principal Solution Architect (GIS)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio, United States; candidates near other TRC offices may also be considered.

Salary: USD $175,656–$198,000 per year, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and implementation of enterprise GIS solutions on VM-based and cloud-native platforms.
• Integrate GIS systems, data, and services with enterprise platforms including Maximo, SAP, ADMS, and other operational technology systems.
• Deploy and configure enterprise Esri environments, including ArcGIS Portal, Web Adaptor, Datastore, Hosting Server, and ArcGIS Pro.
• Design highly available and fault-tolerant GIS databases and platform environments.
• Act as a technical liaison for client IT and business leads through presentations, workshops, and demonstrations.
• Support business development and proposal creation by identifying opportunities, shaping technical solutions, and preparing bid responses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geoinformatics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in GIS system design and architecture.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise Esri environments and designing cloud-based or cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with utilities, distributed asset-based solutions, and integrations with EAM and OT systems such as SAP, Maximo, ADMS, or OMS.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and lead software developers, GIS analysts, and junior architects across large programs.
• Ability to deliver custom solutions through design, build, testing, release, and support phases; willingness to travel up to 25%.
