TL;DR

Transcon Clerk (Road Freight Logistics): Managing the timely and accurate movement of freight and shipment information with an accent on data entry, shipment tracking, customer coordination, and billing accuracy. Focus on arranging road shipments, maintaining regulatory compliance, improving operational efficiency, and resolving delivery or clearance issues.

Location: Smithstown Business Park, Shannon, County Clare, Ireland

What you will do

Coordinate the smooth and timely movement of road freight and related information.
Enter shipment data accurately into the operational system and use export workflows to manage shipments.
Track and trace files, prepare customer reports, and arrange road shipments with customers.
Coordinate freight delivery and clearance when applicable.
Process client and vendor billing accurately and on time.
Maintain supplier relationships, update standard operating procedures, meet KPIs, and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in road freight.
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with clear written and verbal communication.
Basic knowledge of local regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
Good computer skills, including Excel and Word.
Fluent English required.
Proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to help.

Nice to have

Hazardous materials certification.
