Account Executive, Sales

What you will do

• Implement sales strategies to grow revenue and exceed targets.
• Build credible relationships with local businesses and make sales calls to existing and prospective clients.
• Maintain assigned accounts and develop new business.
• Prepare and deliver advertising sales presentations, including rates and media placement options.
• Create advertising schedules and collaborate with clients and station personnel on advertisement development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• At least one year of sales experience, preferably in media.
• Experience setting long-range objectives and implementing strategies to achieve them.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
