TL;DR
Supplier Quality Engineering Program Manager (Manufacturing): Leading supplier quality activities and cross-functional product development programs for marine products with an accent on program scheduling, supplier coordination, APQP, PPAP, and risk management. Focus on managing stage-gate launches, analyzing program performance, coordinating multiple plants and suppliers, and reporting trade-offs to senior leadership.

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid workplace with occasional domestic and international travel up to 20%

Salary: $103,200–$144,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

  • Lead supplier quality activities for new and existing product development programs.
  • Develop and manage program schedules, tracking scope, cost, tooling, risks, and key performance metrics.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Service, Marketing, Category, and supplier quality teams.
  • Manage Mercury's HPPD stage-gate system and APQP activities.
  • Assess risks, create backup plans, manage critical decisions, and communicate program status to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate monthly program reviews across supplier quality managers, engineers, plants, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
  • At least 5 years of project or program management experience and supply chain management experience.
  • Proven project management and cross-functional team leadership experience.
  • Strong data analysis and software skills, including Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Proficiency with engineering prints and specifications, APQP, and PPAP processes.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

  • Project Management Institute certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
