Senior Accountant - Revenue

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; remote or office work as needed

What you will do

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities, including journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliations.
• Apply U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 to revenue accounting and related business changes.
• Design and implement standardized revenue processes and procedures across company entities.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify deficiencies, develop corrective action plans, and monitor remediation.
• Drive automation and process efficiencies while supporting analysis and revenue integration projects.
• Collaborate with Operations, Financial Reporting, Internal Audit, and External Auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• At least five years of progressive accounting experience in a public company environment.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and revenue accounting.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and IF statements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work remotely or in the office as needed and work additional hours during financial close.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Managerial Accountant credential.
