Senior Accountant

Location: New York, New York; hybrid work

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee the monthly revenue close and deliver accurate financial results in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare billing and revenue journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and income statement reconciliations.
• Prepare annual revenue budgets and monthly projections for assigned business units.
• Perform revenue variance analysis by industry, client, and business unit, and develop revenue analytics.
• Collaborate with business partners, support external audits, and perform ad hoc financial analyses and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis or general accounting, including revenue accounting and monthly close processes.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional MS Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate work status, adapt to change, and present high-level findings to management.

Nice to have

• Netsuite experience.
• CPA or equivalent certification.
