AI Tech Team - Technical Project Manager (Sr Associate)

Location: Chicago, United States; flexible living locations across the United States or Canada; hybrid work with travel as needed

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 USD annual base salary; total estimated compensation including annual incentive: $132,250–$168,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead delivery pods of AI Engineers, Solution Architects, and Analysts to deliver client projects on time and to a high quality standard.
• Partner with client stakeholders to clarify scope, gather requirements, and align priorities.
• Translate business objectives into technical deliverables and actionable user stories for AI development teams.
• Manage agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog management, and release readiness.
• Track milestones, risks, and dependencies, and report delivery progress to leadership and clients.
• Coordinate testing, documentation, and handoff for production deployment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing software or AI/ML projects, ideally in consulting or client delivery.
• Strong knowledge of agile delivery, backlog management, and release coordination.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Ability to work from the United States or Canada and travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI solution development lifecycles.
• PMP or Agile certification.
