Debt Capital Markets Summer Intern (Real Estate)

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $45 per hour anticipated base compensation.

What you will do

• Support Link's overall debt strategy and the origination of CMBS, bank balance sheet, and construction loans.
• Build financial models and perform analysis for acquisitions, dispositions, development, and refinancing activities.
• Prepare loan packages, marketing materials, and management and Blackstone debt reporting packages.
• Support lender due diligence by coordinating with Link teams and outside counsel to collect and review required information.
• Manage loan covenants, submit loan draw requests, and assist with the execution of new financing transactions.
• Coordinate with Capital Markets, Asset Management, investments, operations, construction, and development teams, including identifying opportunities to use AI to streamline workflows.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a junior undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution and rising senior.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Professionalism, accountability, ownership of work product, and eagerness to contribute to deal teams.
• Ability to learn and incorporate new concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interest in commercial real estate finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
