Deal Services Financial Due Diligence Consulting Intern - Summer 2027 (Accounting)

Location: Chicago, United States; travel required up to 20–30% locally and nationally, with reliable transportation needed.

Compensation: $33–$39 per hour

What you will do

• Support project teams with financial due diligence deliverables.
• Participate in client meetings and site visits, gathering relevant information from senior management.
• Build and maintain successful customer relationships.
• Collaborate with consultants across regions and practice areas.
• Provide ongoing project support as needed.

Requirements

• Complete at least 90 credit hours and work toward a B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited university.
• Major in Accounting or an equivalent field.
• Ability to travel up to 20–30% locally and nationally and arrange reliable transportation.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
• Entry-level candidates must not require immigration or work-authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on consulting experience through an internship or other relevant work.
