Credits Incentives and Methods Intern – Summer 2027 (Tax)

Location: New York, United States; travel to assigned client locations is required

What you will do

• Work on a team covering accounting for income taxes, accounting methods and periods, corporate taxation, federal credits and incentives, individual taxation, mergers and acquisitions, pass-through entities, private client services, and not-for-profit organizations.
• Complete tax planning and research.
• Prepare federal and state and local tax returns.
• Interpret tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.

Requirements

• Complete at least 90 credit hours.
• Work toward a B.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent, at an accredited university.
• Major in accounting.
• Travel to assigned client locations and access to reliable transportation are required.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively on a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
