Analyst, Global Operations Center (Security Operations)

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; rotating shifts in a 24/7 global operations model.

Salary: $74,800–$110,000 USD per year, localized according to employee work location.

What you will do

• Monitor dashboards, alerts, inbound reports, and open-source signals for emerging security, safety, and operational incidents.
• Triage incidents, follow operational playbooks, document events, validate information, and support incident command activities.
• Track ongoing incidents, global events, and operational conditions to maintain situational awareness across shifts and regions.
• Conduct initial fact-finding, source validation, and contextual analysis to distinguish signal from noise.
• Escalate issues exceeding defined thresholds with clear, structured, decision-ready information.
• Prepare shift reports, conduct disciplined handovers, and contribute to drills, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a GSOC, GOC, SOC, or comparable 24/7 operations or incident response environment.
• Working knowledge of incident triage, escalation protocols, and operational playbooks.
• Foundational analytical skills, including information-quality assessment, trend and anomaly identification, and operational contextualization.
• Familiarity with OSINT tools and publicly available information for event validation.
• Strong judgment, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional or military experience; ability to work rotating shifts.
