Location: On-site at the Executive Office for Immigration Review, 4825 Mark Center Drive, Suite 200, Alexandria, Virginia 22311, USA. Annual salary: $101,526–$132,689, depending on qualifications, experience, responsibilities, and geographic location.

What you will do
- Oversee the full incident response lifecycle, from detection through remediation, closure, and lessons learned.
- Develop and maintain incident response and vulnerability management plans, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents, analyze threats, support insider threat investigations, and provide containment recommendations.
- Lead vulnerability and risk assessments using Tenable, IBM BigFix, Splunk, and related tools.
- Integrate automated threat intelligence feeds into the enterprise SIEM and provide cyber situational awareness.
- Coordinate cyber operations, track remediation and POA&Ms, manage project risks, and deliver regular reports and briefings to leadership.
Requirements
- 3–10 years of cybersecurity incident response experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience with SIEM tools, SOAR platforms, vulnerability scanning, and vulnerability management operations.
- Experience overseeing technical containment strategies, incident investigations, compliance with retention policies, and security reporting.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who has lived in the United States for at least three years.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust, including extensive background and suitability checks.
