Senior Product Manager, Leasing (Proptech)

Location: Hybrid in Oakland, California or New York City, New York; two office days per week in the Bay Area office effective October 2026. U.S. work authorization is required.

Salary: $214,000–$225,000 annual base salary, adjusted based on experience and location.

What you will do

• Own the leasing product roadmap across retail, institutional, and build-to-rent portfolios.
• Lead initiatives from discovery through execution, partnering with Engineering and Design on scoping, rollout, and post-launch analysis.
• Improve leasing funnel visibility, workflows, handoffs, service levels, and automation.
• Partner with leasing operations to remove bottlenecks and increase capacity without proportional headcount growth.
• Shape, validate, price, and launch new leasing products and services for self-managing landlords.
• Own funnel metrics including conversion, speed to lease, service-level adherence, vacancy, and related KPIs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of a revenue-carrying product surface at a software company.
• Experience with product strategy, roadmap ownership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional execution.
• AI fluency and experience putting AI into a product or workflow.
• Comfort working with operational teams, conducting customer research, and using data to identify root causes.
• Strong written communication, customer curiosity, and a bias toward action in ambiguous environments.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; H-1B visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Proptech, real estate, marketplace, leasing, or property management experience.
• Experience with products serving institutional owners, self-managing landlords, leasing agents, or prospects.
