Technical Cloud Architect

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design end-to-end cloud solutions across compute, networking, storage, identity, and data services.
• Lead architecture reviews and establish cloud standards, landing zones, and reusable reference architectures.
• Design secure networking, identity, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Architect cloud migration, modernization, and application transformation initiatives.
• Drive cloud cost optimization, FinOps, and capacity planning.
• Document technical architectures and collaborate with security, engineering, and business teams while mentoring engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering or solution architecture experience.
• Strong expertise with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with cloud networking, security, identity, containers, and serverless technologies.
• Experience leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Cloud Architect certification from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; U.S. work authorization is required.

Nice to have

• Multiple cloud certifications.
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with TOGAF or enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience in regulated industries and cloud compliance.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
