Early Career Water Resources Engineer

What you will do

• Plan and design community improvement projects for public- and private-sector clients.
• Support environmental compliance and permitting activities.
• Contribute to infrastructure resiliency and stormwater engineering projects.
• Develop and apply watershed models for water resources projects.
• Support construction plan preparation and specialty engineering services.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Strong interest in pursuing a civil engineering career.
• Engineer Intern certification, or commitment to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering examination within one year of starting.

Nice to have

• Experience with ArcGIS Pro and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of developing and guiding construction plan preparation.
• Practical experience with hydrology and hydraulics software such as BMP Trains, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HSPF, ICPR, MODRET, StormCAD, StormWise, and SWMM.
